Spanish Club

Betty Yarber

The purpose of the club is for students to come together and learn about Hispanic culture.  They are encouraged to practice Spanish with the native-speaker members. Students are encouraged to provide a service to the community.  The members have movie nights.  On these occasions, a movie is presented in Spanish with English subtitles provided.

The LEHS Student Council in conjunction with the Leadership Class acts as a vehicle of communication between students, faculty, the community and the administration of the school.  This organization exists to provide opportunities to develop and exhibit leadership qualities in the student body.  At all times members of this organization are to promote and increase school loyalty and spirit through example and attitude.

The LEHS Leadership Class in conjunction with the Student Council acts as a vehicle of communication between students, faculty, the community and the administration of the school.  This organization exists to provide opportunities to develop and exhibit leadership qualities in the student body.  At all times members of this organization are to promote and increase school loyalty and spirit through example and attitude.  The council is obliged to coordinate spiritual, social and service opportunities for the student body.
